Ke$ha's Cannibal Track List: No Drake, Plenty Of Dirty Puns -- 'Animal' remix and eight new songs feature production by Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Bangladesh.

On November 22, Ke$ha will return with Cannibal , the mini-LP/ maxi-EP "companion" piece to her platinum-plus debut disc, Animal. Much like Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, Cannibal will be sold both as a standalone album and as part of a deluxe reissue of Animal. According to a press release from Ke$ha's label, RCA, there are eight new songs on the album (including smash first single "We R Who We R" ) — produced by the likes of Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Bangladesh — and a new remix. Earlier this week, a rumored track list for Cannibal began making the rounds, featuring songs like "Rumblin'," "Glitter and Glamour" and "Strong," a supposed team-up with Drake. It sounded rather promising, but, unfortunately, it was also untrue. On Thursday (October 28), RCA sent MTV News the actual track listing for Cannibal, and while it doesn't feature any cameos by Drake (or anyone else), there is a song called — ah...

Paula Abdul's New Dance Show to Face Off Against 'American Idol' 'Live to Dance' will kick off week before 'Idol' returns in January.

So much for "Forever Your Girl." A year after leaving "American Idol," former judge Paula Abdul is plotting her return to prime time in the dance competition "Live to Dance." And wouldn't you know it? Abdul's new CBS show will air opposite "Idol"! According to Variety, Abdul's program will launch with a two-hour special on January 4 and then move to its regular one-hour Wednesday night slot on January 5 at 8 p.m. Though Fox has not yet announced the launch date for season 10 of "Idol," if the show re-boots as it typically does in the second week of January, there could be a face-off between the two shows beginning on the night of January 12. Fox has tentatively scheduled the weekly results show for "Idol" on Wednesdays at 8:30, so if both schedules hold, Abdul's show would have a half-hour jump on the competition on results night. On "Live to Dance," Abdul will not only be a j...

Mariah Carey Says Miscarriage 'Shook' Her: The MTV News Quote Of The Day

"The way it happened, so quickly at first, I didn't know what to expect. That was not easy. I've never really been a very forthcoming person about my personal stuff. It kind of shook us both and took us into a place that was really dark and difficult. When that happened ... I wasn't able to even talk to anybody about it. That was not easy." -Pop music legend Mariah Carey , commenting on the revelation that she had a miscarriage two years ago. That news came on the back of the happier revelation that Carey is pregnant with her first child with husband Nick Cannon. In an interview with Billy Bush that first aired on "Today" and was then expanded on "Access Hollywood Live," Carey and Cannon talked about how they dealt with the issue. "It was emotional for both of us and that's when I saw the strength," Cannon said of Carey. "She handled it so well and then to get on the plane and have to spend Christmas with frien...

Kid Cudi Stoked To Have Mary J. Blige On New Album -- Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager drops November 9.

Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, set to drop November 9, is one of the most anticipated albums of 2010. Arguably the most unexpected thing about the release is that Cudi was able to secure two Mary J. Blige cameos.   Cudi is known for genre-blending collaborations — Kanye West , Cee Lo Green and St. Vincent also are featured — but even he was shocked that the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul wanted to work with him. Cudi and Blige first talked about working together when they bumped into each other on a flight to New York. Cudi said he was surprised she was open to a collaboration and kept her in mind when he was in the studio. He eventually found a record he thought she would fit. After they recorded it, however, neither was sold on it. "She liked it, but she asked to hear other stuff," Cudi revealed. "I was immediately standoffish. I was like, 'Man, I don't want to play all of these other songs, me talking ab...

Rihanna Reveals Why She Missed Katy Perry Wedding -- Singer says lack of phone and Internet reception in India was a problem with Loud album on the way.

Rihanna was one of the celebrity faces expected at Katy Perry and Russell Brand's wedding in India last week, but the pop starlet didn't end up hitting the ceremony. The singer recently revealed to "Extra" that professional obligations for her upcoming LP, Loud, caused her to miss the nuptials. "The album is coming out in two weeks, and I had to be available for a lot of approvals [and check] e-mails and stuff. We couldn't get any phone service or Internet service out there. It was scary," Rihanna said of the location, near a wildlife sanctuary in Rajasthan. "It would have been a little irresponsible [to go without Internet or phone service], but she understood, and I was glad that I could at least throw her her bachelorette party and be involved somehow." Although Rihanna took the responsible road by staying plugged in and keeping the release of her latest album on track, she admitted she was bummed she couldn't attend t...

PHOTOS: 9 Celebrities Photoshopped Into Zombies

(Credit: FilmMagic/Sean Gresens/MTV) Did you guys know that zombies are the new vampires? It's true. Well, at least at the moment. Maybe it's because Halloween 's almost here, and because we're psyched for that zombie show on AMC, or because we've been listening to a lot of Fela Kuti (it happens), but we're way into zombies taking the place of the Cullens. Sci-fi aficionados will be sure to tell you that zombies and vampires are apples and oranges, but I have to say I'm definitely pro-zombies. There's something a little extra cool about eating brains instead of blood. Also, you don't have to wear a cape, and you can eat all the garlic you want! Above we have (an obviously doctored photo of ) Ke$ha as a zombie (or would it be zombi €?) .  Even though she's missing half of a pinky finger, sporting whited-out eyes, and wearing lipstick made of blood, for some reason none of this looks out of place. Ke$ha might actually be a zombie. ...

Aussie woman kicked out of church over ED ad

The star of an erectile dysfunction commercial in Australia was kicked out of her church until the ad comes off air, the Herald Sun reported today. Libby Ashby told Melbourne-based radio station 3AW she had been "disfellowshipped" from her local congregation after appearing in the ad.   "They have said I would not be reinstated until the ad comes off the air," Ashby said, while not identifying which church she attends. Ashby, a single mother, said she knew when she was filming the AMI ad that it was in poor taste. But she said she had taken the job because of the money. "My VISA was calling out for mercy," she said. "It was against my better judgment to it. I don't like to offend people."

'Psychic' octopus Paul dies

Paul the psychic octopus, who became an international sensation correctly predicting match results during the World Cup, was found dead today. A statement released by the Oberhausen, Germany, aquarium described staff as "devastated," even though the death was expected due to the life expectancy of the common octopus species. Indonesian quake death toll climbs to 108

A major earthquake near Indonesia's west coast left 108 people dead and around 500 missing, an official told local media Tuesday. Among those missing were nine Australians who were in the region on a surfing vacation, one of whom is a police officer. The Australian government was working with local authorities to find them or the boat in which they were believed to be traveling. A tsunami warning was issued and then canceled after the 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Mentawai Islands area of West Sumatra province at 9:42pm local time Monday. The quake hit at a depth of 12.8 miles (20.6 kilometers) about 150 miles west of Bengkulu in Sumatra, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake was followed by a powerful 6.1-magnitude aftershock about five hours later in the same area. Waves up to 10 feet (three meters) tall hit South Pagai Island, destroying 80 percent of buildings in Muntei village, according to Health Ministry Crisis Center head Mudjiharto. ...

Saddam Hussein aide Tariq Aziz sentenced to hang

BAGHDAD — The international face of Saddam Hussein's regime, Tariq Aziz, was sentenced to death by hanging Tuesday for persecuting Shiites just over three months after the Americans transferred him to Iraqi government custody. Iraqi High Tribunal spokesman Mohammed Abdul-Sahib did not say when the 74-year-old former foreign minister would go to the gallows. Aziz has 30 days to launch an appeal. Aziz, the only Christian in Saddam's mainly Sunni inner circle, was wearing a blue suit and sat alone in the court. He bowed his head and frequently grasped the handrail in front of him, as the judge read out the verdict. His Jordan-based lawyer, Badee Izzat Aref, accused the government of orchestrating the verdict to divert attention from recent revelations about prisoner abuse by Iraqi security forces contained in U.S. military documents released last week by the whistleblower site WikiLeaks. "We are discussing this issue and what next step we should ta...

Gordon Ramsay sued after canceling charity dinners for sick child: report

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is being sued after withdrawing from fund-raising events for a nine-year-old girl with a life-threatening stomach condition. The "Kitchen Nightmares" reality show chef faces the legal battle after canceling two engagements to raise money for Matisse Reid, who is undergoing expensive medical treatment in America, the London Evening Standard reported Tuesday. Matisse -- who is waiting for stomach, pancreas and small and large bowel transplants and cannot eat -- already had one dinner canceled by the chef. In June, he pulled out after his mother, 66-year-old Helen Cosgrove, suffered a minor heart attack, causing them to be rescheduled. Ramsay, 43, has since decided not to attend the events for the New Zealand youngster, due to be held Tuesday in Auckland and Thursday in the capital Wellington. Duco Events, which was due to host the events, sold 2,000 seats to the dinners and hoped to raise NZ$100,000 ($75,190.) It ...

S. African court sets trial date over Campbell's diamond gift

A South African court set Wednesday a trial date for a former official of Nelson Mandela's charity who held diamonds at the center of the war crimes trial of ex-Liberian president Charles Taylor. Jeremy Ratcliffe, a former trustee of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, is charged with contravention of the Diamonds Act for the possession of rough diamonds that he said he received from supermodel Naomi Campbell. His trial was set for two days, beginning March 2, 2011. He appeared in a Johannesburg court for the preliminary hearing Wednesday, wearing a suit and looking frail. Ractliffe handed over the diamonds to local authorities after Campbell's testimony in The Hague, where she confessed to receiving a gift of "dirty-looking stones" she assumed were from Taylor in 1997. Campbell said she handed the stones to Ratcliffe. "Our case has got nothing to do with the case happening in The Hague. This is a local case related to possession ...

Indonesia struck by dual disasters

Indonesia was hammered by two natural disasters within hours of each other yesterday, leaving more than 100 people dead -- with the toll certain to mount. Near Padang, rescuers battled rough seas to reach remote islands pounded by a 10-foot tsunami that swept away homes and killed at least 113 people. Scores more were missing, and information was only starting to trickle in from the sparsely populated surfing destination, so casualties were expected to rise. The tsunami was spawned by a massive, 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck late Monday just 13 miles beneath the ocean floor. Meanwhile, the nation's most volatile volcano, Mount Merapi, started erupting at dusk yesterday after scientists warned that pressure building beneath its dome could trigger its most powerful explosion in years. At least 18 people were killed, including a 2-month-old baby. Thousands of villagers streamed off the 9,737-foot-high mountain as darkness fell, crowding into emergenc...

A drive to protect vote fraud

Faced with multiple reports of early-voting irregularities and election shenanigans across the country, left-wing groups are playing dumb, deaf and blind. More cunningly, these organizations are seeking to marginalize complaints about election integrity by casting citizen-watchdog efforts as racist "scare tactics." Echoing President Obama's message to the Democratic faithful on the campaign trail, they are accusing political opponents of suppressing the votes of minorities and the poor. Yesterday, The New York Times quoted a liberal voting-rights advocate, Wendy R. Weiser, wringing her hands over individual Americans taking clean elections seriously: "Private efforts to police the polls create a real risk of vote suppression, regardless of their intent," said Weiser. Weiser also turned up in a similar story minimizing voter fraud that was published yesterday by National Public Radio. The NPR report asserted that "most election expert...

McCain says it's too early to endorse Palin for 2012: report

Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain said Tuesday it was too early to endorse former running mate Sarah Palin for a possible 2012 presidential bid. During an interview on CBS’ “The Early Show,” McCain said Palin would be an “outstanding candidate” but added that it was too soon to throw his support behind any potential contenders. "I'm very grateful for all the things she's done to invigorate our party,” McCain said. “But I think it's very early to start picking winners and losers,” he continued. The Arizona Republican also warned his party not to “take a victory lap ahead of time” when it came to next week’s pivotal midterm elections. “Indications are that, as always, the Democrats have a very sophisticated get-out-the-vote operation,” McCain said. “We've got to get our vote out.”
