The service of songs in Honour of TPL (Mrs.) Felicia Abimbola Was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Yaba, College of Technology, and Yaba Lagos. After the opening benedictions, a member of Women in Technical Education and Employment (WITTED) read the first bible reading which was taken from the books of (Ecclesiastes 3:1 -13) and the second bible reading was taken from the book of (Revelation 22:1- 13) the late TPL (Mrs.) Odugbesan was the very first female Rector of Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos.
She was an administration par excellence who touched many staffers positively and uncommonly with a motherly love. In the course of the service of songs in her honour her entire family members were prayed for, for God’s protection, and there after testimonies were shared on her behalf. The very first group to testify on her life and times was the WITTED of which she was the initiator and the first of its kind in Nigeria for polytechnic female employees. Mounting the pulpit the National Coordinator of WITTED, Princess Regina Amadi, of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, near Owerri, the capital of Imo state read two page well-crafted and heavily researched tribute to the audience at the Multipurpose Hall YCT, Princess Amadi said that God does not make a mistake, he takes the best adding that on the evening of the 4th of April 2018, at about 8:14pm while going through her watsapp WITTE NCC Nigeria platform she found a message which read, “Good evening” regret to inform all members of WITTED  that the initiator of WITTED in Nigeria and one time Rector of Yaba College of Technology (TPL) Odugbesan passed on in the United States of America as recorded by Mrs. Francisca Fehintola Taiwo.
Princess Amadi said that it was a bomb shell dropped to her adding that as many of them at her service of songs, that her demise was most unexpected as it also reached her with profound shock and disbelief. Princess Amadi said that there are a few people in life who crossed one’s path and they finally did leave indelible impressions on one’s mind adding that such uncommon impression does not come from just their status, wealth or lineage but, from their uncommon approval and with a pragmatic touch, adding that TPL (Mrs.) Odugbesan lived a meritorious and courageous life as she positively touched many lives as a teacher, Erudite scholar, as administrator par excellence.
The first female Rector of Yaba College of Technology. TPL (Mrs.) Odugbesan was a woman of no little statue Nationally and internationally, a devoted Christian, a commuted family woman and a lovable mother, a leader of men and women, a great mentor to the younger generation, a builder of human capacity and finally a great contributor beyond WITTED and Yaba College of Technology, but, largely to the national development.
The National Coordinator of WITTED Princess Amadi read out 17 solemn comments from WITTED members on social media and all the litany of expressions or condolence are very, very touching as one reads “Oh no---Life is so short. Our model, mentor, you have actually played your role as a woman in Technical Education---. May God make the tree you planted keep growing. WITTED was inaugurated on 22nd October 1997 when the late maximum dark google military junta was the Head of State at Abuja, General Sanni  Abacha. The sermon was delivered by Very Rev. Olumuyiwa Awe, who said that Late TPL (Mrs.) Odugbesan was a lover of her family. She was a lover of children. She was a lover of her colleagues and all and sundry of the Yaba Tech Community. She was a great spouse to her husband of many decades with undiluted, undivided and uncommon love, Very Rev. Awe said that Mama Rector has gone to be with the Lord where there is no crime, no bad roads, no corruption, no Boko Haram, no Fulani herdsmen, no kidnapping, no quarrels, no enemity, no armed robberies, no examination malpractices, no sexual harassment, from male lecturers, but, that she has gone to join the righteous elects in white robes praising God unendingly. The very Rev. Awe categorically told the audience that if a person has many children and lived for decades of years, yet if such a person does not have a befitting funeral that a stillborn child is far far better than the strange fellow.
The very Revd. Awe told the Crowds that Late mama Rector was extraordinaire personage that when he applied for lecturing job at the Yaba College of Technology many years ago, that a certain relative of her called Baba Popo wrote a letter on his behalf to mama rector Odugbesan adding that when he submitted the said letter to her office, that she came out and met with him by asking who did bring letter from baba Popo. 
The very Rev. Awe said that he identified himself and she asked him what grade of joy are you looking for, he answered her lecture three; she simply said that he can do the job. Behold Very Rev. Awe said that five of them were shortlisted for interview and four of them were internal applicants while he was the external one, and to the Glory of God, at the end he was the one who got the slot for the employment. 


The Odugbesans have lined up the remaining segments of the funerals ceremonies, Christian wake keep on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at 5pm at Muson Centre Onikan Lagos Island, funeral mass on Thursday April 26th 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Ebute Meta, Lagos, interment at Vault and Garden, Ikoyi, Lagos and reception at Havillah events centre, Victoria Island, Lagos colors to be worn- Blue outfit with red head tie (witted colors). The vote of thanks was done by the registrar of Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Kayode Momodu

Ayobami Ogunleye, a trader and mother of three on Friday told a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan to dissolve her marriage to Olaniyi because he raped her 16-year-old daughter.
