FABULOUS AND GOLDEN: PASTOR (MRS) FOLASHADE AFOLABI AT 50

On the 22nd of October, 2017 at Ever Increasing Anointing Ministries International (A.K.A. Church On The Rock) whose headquarters is at 14/16, Olabisi Olaitan Street, Off LASU/Isheri Expressway, Omolade Bus Stop, Egan, Igando in Lagos State, Pastor (Mrs) Folashade Abosede Esther Afolabi celebrated her Golden Jubilee and Thanksgiving Service in grand style.

The event featured dignitaries and celebrities who out of their tight and busy schedules came to honor the elegant woman with a large heart. Pastor (Mrs) Folashade Afolabi decided out of all event centers decided to celebrate her birthday in a church which was filled to the brim with well-wisher who came from far and near to celebrate the cheerful giver.

In attendance were Her Excellency (Mrs) Bolanle Ambode (Lagos State First Lady), Her Excellency (Mrs) Foluso Amosun (Ogun State First Lady), His Royal Highness Oba Dosumu (Olowo of Owu Kingdom), Otunba Olatunde Olowu, Ex-Super Eagle Skipper, Mr Kanu Nwankwo (Papilo), Pastor Owolabi (United Kingdom), Friends from different countries, Families, Frienids, Friends of Friends, Colleagues, Church members and well-wishers from different states.

While speaking to the congregation, the delightful husband who is the Group Executive Vice Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi (MON) said that his wife decided to celebrate her golden jubilee in the church because “In the presence of God, there is fullness of joy”.

The supportive husband who is a recipient of the Member of the Order of Niger (MON) could not hide his radiating happiness while appreciating the attendees both young and old. He proceeded by reading from the Holy Book as he picked hi reading from the book of Luke 17:11 – 19.

During an interview session with the General Overseer of Ever Increasing Anointing Ministry International, Senior Pastor Taiye Emmanuel Olayemi, he described the elegant celebrant as a woman with a large heart who has in many ways been a source of support to many people around her. He said, “She is a woman with a heart of gold and always there to help and support the less privileged”. He praised her consistency and persistence in all she does.

Chief Akinbode Leshaodo who is an uncle to the celebrant described her as a gift from God and help to humanity. “I am happy to be alive to witness Shade celebrate her golden jubilee and I thank God for her life from childhood till this present golden age”, the radiant uncle concluded.

Meanwhile, the cathedral where the event took place was completed under a month purposely for the celebration of an iconic woman filled with strength and vibrancy.

The celebrant who is a generous SIFAX Group supporter appreciated all attendees for their supports and generousity.

The double-packed golden jubilee celebration featured the performance of the blazing highlife-traditional gospel music band, the popular Ayan Jesu Gospel Singers who thrilled their fans and the congregation with songs from both old and new music albums.
